Connecting Advice in Dorset and Advice for Child Health
The place to go for help and advice in Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole - a new website launched June 2015
The Connecting Advice in Dorset project is pleased to announce the launch of a new website which will help people in the local area to find advice when they need it. Simply go to the website and click to find advice about welfare benefits, debt, housing and much, much more.
Last year, over 27000 people received advice from the Citizens Advice Bureau in Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole. Christine Cook, manager of the CAB Christchurch said that "This website will mean that people can get the advice they need where and when they need it"
The website is one of the outcomes of the Connecting Advice in Dorset service, funded by the National Lottery through the Big Lottery Fund. It works to build networks between organisations which provide advice , and to help them to be more resilient and sustainable.
Wessex Healthier Together
The healthier together programme was instituted with the aim to improve the care provided to children and young people within the Dorset, Hampshire and Isle of Wight regions.
